Joomla is a fork of the popular Mambo CMS. Joomla is the open source continuation of the Mambo project. It features a very powerful and easy to use administrative interface. Joomla is also fully templated, allowing you to customize the look of your site by editing HTML templates.
In Joomla, plugins are called "components." At this point, the Joomla component is not quite ready. The plugin is under development and should be ready for a release sometime in the Spring of 2006.
